Health Scholars of Promise is a college prep program providing teens with general and health-specific resources, along with mentoring, and support services to help them apply to schools of their choice. The program also provides support throughout students' college careers. Program benefits include:
Opportunities to participate in online training programs and visit college and university campuses in the future, both in Montana and nationally, in conjunction with Hopa Mountain's other two Scholars of Promise programs
An option to participate in a 2024 College Preparation Retreat with exposure to health science career choices, degree options and scholarship information.
Access to training and coaching meetings to help you prepare to apply to colleges/universities and succeed once you are there
Assistance with college and scholarship applications
Mentor and peer support from undergraduate and graduate students in the health sciences throughout college
Recognition through participation in the Health Scholars of Promise program
Continued support throughout college based on individual students' needs
