Strategic Planning Workshop

Strategic planning is an organization’s process of defining its direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.  In order to determine where an organization is going, it needs to know where it stands and then determine where it wants to go and how to get there.  In this workshop, participants will learn about the elements of a strategic plan and how to implement a strategic planning process for their organization.

An Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry

David Cooperider and Diana Whitney define Appreciative Inquiry (AI) as a “cooperative search for the best in people, their organizations, and the world around them.” It involves systematic discovery of what gives a system ‘life’ when it is most effective and capable in economic, ecological, and human terms. In this introductory AI workshop, learn how to use appreciative inquiry techniques in business, nonprofit, and government work plus your personal life to bring out the best in your group and self.
