5 Critical Emotional Needs
● Introduction to the overview of The Five Critical Needs of Children (i.e. to feel respected, important, accepted, included, and secure).
Day 2: Tuesday, September 22 6 - 7:30 p.m. (MST)
Family Situations
● Explore scenarios and family situations in which certain behaviors help while other types of reactive behaviors may be hurtful.
Day 3: Monday, September 28 6 - 7:30 p.m. (MST)
Strengthening Families and Schools
● Discuss Family Meetings: Family as a Learning Community
Day 4: Tuesday, September 29 6 - 7:30 p.m. (MST)
● Children’s Well-Being Survey
● Parent Self-Care Plan
This workshop will be taught by Yanira Carrillo-Zaldana, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Trainer and Parent Facilitator, from Southern California. Her mission in life is to continue to empower leaders, schools and communities of diverse backgrounds to join the alliance of elevating the social emotional consciousness of our society for a thriving world.
Early education credits will be available for those that participate in all 4 sessions.
